ABOUT CRIL
The Centre for Research in International Law (CRIL) is a student run cell, which strives to increase awareness and enthusiasm in the area of international law and affairs. CRIL is a recognized cell of the University with Dr. Raka Arya as its faculty advisor. CRIL seeks to ensure an active and inclusive atmosphere, in collaboration with various esteemed organizations, like the Transparency International, wherein an interface between like-minded students and the extensive area of international law is created.
ACHIEVEMENTS
· In 2010, CRIL in collaboration with Transparency International India, successfully conducted panel discussions on Fighting Corruption and Promoting Governance.
· In 2010 and 2011, CRIL successfully organised the Consultative Meets on 'Save Tiger' with the aim of promoting the conservation of tigers through legal advocacy, in India. Further, in 2012, an inter-college debate on the guidelines given by the Ministry on Environment and Forests with regard to the administration of tourism in core areas of Tiger Reserves, was organised.
· In 2011, CRIL organised the 5th Student Round Table Conference on the Indo-U.S. Nuclear Cooperation Agreement and Emerging Issues of International Law.
· CRIL is the official Bhopal Chapter of the International Law Students Association (ILSA).
· CRIL was awarded the ILSA Best Academic International Event Award in 2011.
